For being a good little PA, and paying attention to the clock......I got a souvenir....
an ANEURYSM CLIP!!!!
They use a temporary clip on the vessel leading to the aneurysm to reduce the pressure while they put permanent clips on the neck of the aneurysm......and then they take the temp clips off......
and then I got to keep one....
OK - so maybe this isn't that exciting for the rest of you......but I was excited - ha ha!
So if you had surgery, and they removed something.......would you want to keep it????

Maybe it would depend on what they removed :-) I'm the type that thinks it's cool right at the time, so I keep it. Then I wonder why I kept it. I have my volleyball and softball jerseys from high school and was so excited to get them....now I'm wondering why I thought it would be a good idea to have them take up space in my closet :-)
I bet you have the only blog that includes the label of ANEURYSM in it's index.

When I had my IVC filter removed I asked if I could keep it. They told me that the paper work was too much work for them, so NO.
I asked if I could see it, and they never let me. Geez!!
